Join the Mayor's Office of Women’s Advancement and LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement for Culture Class: A Seat at the table, a mixer that blends academic insight with community celebration. The program features a lecture series designed to be accessible and engaging. To bridge the gap between the academy and the community, the space will be transformed into a vibrant marketplace featuring l, DJ Troy Frost, and curated food and beverage pairings The event will take place on Wednesday, February 11th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at The Substation in Roslindale.

Truths Our Bodies Tell is an evening where movement carries memory. In this company concert, Danza Orgánica presents six original dance works drawing from our origins, our embodied landscapes, our dystopian realities, and the truths we carry forward.

What is the Boston Youth Poet Laureate program?

The BYPL is a writer and advocate who performs original works at civic events, brings poetry into schools and libraries, leads a special interest project, and works closely with Boston’s current Poet Laureate, Emmanuel Oppong-Yeboah, to strengthen the City’s literary community.

Join the Paul Revere Memorial Association, Massachusetts Poet Laureate Regie Gibson, and Paul Revere for an engaging and immersive free program to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Midnight Ride. From the loyalist anthems of the Tories, to the fiery songs of the Revolutionaries, and original 19th century compositions written to further Revere’s legacy this program brings 18th and 19th century America to life through the music of the times. The evening will include performances by some of Boston’s finest musician

Far more than just a messenger on horseback, Paul Revere was a devoted family man, a savvy businessman, and a respected civil servant. This special evening promises to be a powerful journey through sound and story, separating fact from folklore while painting a vivid portrait of one of America’s most iconic patriots.
