Looking for support getting connected to resources and navigating City services? Meet with the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement during our community office hours at the Copley Branch of the Boston Public Library. 

Office hours will take place on the following days:

• First Thursday of every month from 4 - 7 p.m. at the East Boston branch
• Fourth Thursday of every month from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Copley branch

Registration is not required, and interpretation and disability accommodations will be available.

Join us as we begin Black History Month with a flag-raising ceremony and community gathering honoring the legacy, resilience, and achievements of Black communities in Boston and beyond. Established in 1926 by Dr. Carter G. Woodson as Negro History Week, this annual observance has grown into a global month-long celebration recognized across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

This year’s kickoff will feature speakers, cultural performances, and the raising of the Black Liberation Flag—a moment of reflection, celebration, and unity. More program details will be shared soon.

Mayor Michelle Wu, the City of Boston Mayor's Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA), and Project Citizenship are hosting the 12th annual Citizenship Day on May 2, 2026, at the Reggie Lewis State Track Athletic Center. The event is an opportunity for people who are eligible for naturalization to get free legal help with their citizenship application.

Coffee Hours are held weekly unless otherwise noted. 

The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services liaisons hosts weekly Coffee Hours located conveniently in each neighborhood. This is an opportunity to connect with your neighborhood liaison to receive support connecting with City departments, addressing any concerns, or just to say hello to connect joyfully. 

Neighborhood liaisons look forward to hearing how Boston can improve our neighborhoods.

The Disability Community Forum is a hybrid event hosted by the City of Boston Disabilities Commission to offer an opportunity for the public to provide input on disability access and inclusion to City of Boston officials.

Boston residents and visitors from every corner of the disability community are encouraged to participate, either in person or on Zoom! We value your perspective, and hope to hear from many community members. Tell us what is working and where improvement is needed related to City of Boston programs, policies, services, communications, and the built environment. You'll have the chance to give us your input and express your priorities!
