On Sunday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. stop by E-Bike Demo Area at Ride and Chill event at Franklin Park.

Ride and Chill is a free, safe, and family-friendly event with something for everyone - there will be rides, bike programming for youth, free bike repair clinic, e-bike demo area, as well as fitness classes, music, and food trucks. E-Bike Demo Area is provided by Casa Bikes and Cargo B. 

Casa Bikes is an electric bike store serving the Greater Boston Area wit a vast collection of new e-bikes and accessories. Cargo B is Boston's cargo bike share service—making it easy for households to put down the car keys and hop onto the neighborhood cargo bike for local trips! Easy, accessible and family-friendly

  • E-Bike Demo Area at Ride and Chill will be taking place on Circuit Drive, which will be closed to traffic for the duration of the festival.
  • You can learn more about different types of e-bikes and test ride e-bikes. If you are planning to test-ride, please bring your ID.
  • The E-Bike Demo Area is free and open to the public. Drop-in, no registration required. If you are interested to attend other activities at Ride and Chill, here is more info and registration to the event.

On Sunday, October 11, you are cordially invited to join Ride and Chill at Franklin Park.

The Shattuck Picnic Area in Franklin Park is the hub of all Ride and Chill activities and where check-in for the event will take place! Circuit Drive will be closed for the duration of the event (8 a.m. - 2 p.m.) allowing for safe riding and festivities

Join us for a free, safe, and family friendly bike ride throughout Franklin Park and surrounding areas - choose to ride 9-mile route, 2.5-route, or 0.5-loop for beginners and balance-bikers. Or join Fitness classes instead!

Ride and Chill will also feature a festival at the Shattuck Picnic Area with free bike programming, Open Jump Clinic, bike repair clinic, dance and fitness classes, e-bike demo area, local DJ, live music band, and food vendors.

The event is sponsored by Wayfair and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

In addition to supporting Ride & Chill, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is offering Bluebikes riders a $15 credit through the weekend of Oct. 10–11. Riders can redeem the credit beginning Friday, Oct. 9, and use it for rides across the entire 13-municipality Bluebikes system for one year after redemption. Riders can enter code BCBSHEALTHYOCT in the Bluebikes app to redeem their $15 credit.
