The City of Boston Environment Department is partnering with the West End Branch of the Boston Public Library to host one of these events. This special Fixit Clinic Junior is for children ages 6-12 years old!

• A description of what’s wrong and anything you’ve tried to fix it

• A desire to learn and share your knowledge!

The City of Boston will be hosting a public meeting in the JFK Elementary School Auditorium in Jamaica Plain to:

• Share a summary of Summer 2025 work
• Address community questions and concerns
• Review engagement and project plans for Summer 2026.

• A desire to learn and share your knowledge!

These events are family-friendly and open to all. Interested in becoming a Fixit Coach yourself? Come lend a hand.

This community event is an opportunity to hear directly from City staff, ask questions, and connect one-on-one with the teams leading key projects in the park.

The evening will begin with a brief presentation, followed by tabling sessions where attendees can speak with representatives from Boston Parks & Recreation’s Design and Construction and Urban Wilds Crew, as well as the Planning Department.

• Dog Facilities Study
• Shattuck Picnic Grove Tennis Court Expansion
• Bear Dens Improvements 
• Natural Areas Restoration
