Marwa Khudaynazar

Chief of Staff

Marwa Khudaynazar currently serves as the Chief of Staff at the Office of Police Accountability. Most recently, she has served as EA in the Community Engagement Cabinet, supporting executive communications and assistance for a staff of 70+ full-time employees. Prior to City Hall, Marwa's professional career includes various roles in Climate Tech, Refugee Advocacy, and Youth Development. 

Marwa received her B.A in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston. As an Afghan American Refugee, she immigrated to Boston at an early age where she has spent the majority of her life.  Her experiences growing up in the city, along with her unique perspective as an immigrant, shape her dedication to social justice and equitable governance. This commitment drives her work at OPAT, where she focuses on building trust and accountability between law enforcement and the community. In her personal time, Marwa enjoys playing chess, exploring Boston's diverse restaurants, and spending quality time with friends and family.
