Pint with a Planner is back! This time, we'll be in Charlestown at the Tradesman restaurant, once again gathering with planners and community engagement staff from Boston Planning & Development Agency (the BPDA). We'll share more about PLAN: Charlestown, the neighborhood's ongoing comprehensive planning initiative, and the agency's other on-going work.

Appetizers and pizzas will be provided by the BPDA, and there will be a cash bar. Bring your questions and ideas about the PLAN: Charlestown scenarios, which are currently live for public comment on the webpage. This is an opportunity to share an evening (and should you choose to purchase one, a drink) with the City's planning, workforce development, and real estate team, as well as other young professionals from the neighborhood. We hope you will come provide valuable feedback in a laid back environment and have some fun with SPARK Boston!

Picnic In The Park

The Office of Fair Housing and Equity (FHE) is excited to host a series of events called "Picnics in the Park!"

May 3, 2022
2022-05-03T11:00:00 - 2022-05-03T13:00:00

The Office of Fair Housing and Equity (FHE) is excited to be hosting a series of events we are calling "Picnics in the Park!" We will provide a tailored Fair Housing training that will not only cover the history and laws protecting fair housing, but specifically discuss the rights of Boston's LGBTQIA+ community to have equitable access to housing. Afterwards, participants will take proactive steps by canvassing the local area with posters that we will display in local businesses and bulletins. Of course, light lunch will be served because what is a picnic without some refreshments! We look forward to this informative and collaborative event.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Maggie Callaghan at maggie.callaghan@boston.gov or 617-635-2536.

The purpose is not to prepare students for active military service, but to develop leadership, responsibility, self-esteem and an understanding of good citizenship.
