The Department of Neighborhood Development attended the Intervale St./ Normandy St. ResidentsAssociation; Devon, Normandy, Brunswick Sts. Residents Association and Stanwood St./ Columbia Road Neighborhood Association to discuss what the community would like for the city-owned parcel,90 Geneva Ave, in anticipation of an upcoming Affordable Housing RFP.

DND released an RFP in February 2021 for preservation of this parcel as urban agriculture, and received one proposal from Boston Food Forest Coalition in partnership with Farmers Collaborative. DND will hold a virtual Developer Presentation so that BFFC/Farmers Collaborative can present their proposed design for the project, which includes a greenhouse and beehives, and seek feedback from abutters and other neighbors. Residents are invited to give their feedback on a proposal to preserve this parcel as permanent open space, with a focus on urban agriculture and community food access.
