As a native of La Ceiba, Honduras, she is fluent in Spanish and has worked in the human services field for more than 19 years. She has been employed with the City of Boston EAP for more than 16 years. She received her Master of Social Work and Bachelors in Human Services degree from Springfield College, a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from Northeastern University, and is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor and CEAP candidate.
Professional Affiliations: National Association of Social Work (NASW), Employee Assistance Professional Association (EAPA) and the Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC).
