This event organized by Boston Lesbigay Urban Foundation in collaboration with Diggity Dom is a showcase of local QTBIPOC emerging artists who are launching into the Boston music scene. The event will be held at City Hall Plaza on Sunday, July 2 from 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.

Open Your Heart gives voice to an inter-generational group of immigrants who came to the U.S. and ultimately landed in East Boston. Their moving and inspiring stories capture why people decide to come to this country, their journey to get here, their experience when they arrive, and ultimately, their transformation into community leaders and activists who contribute to the vibrancy of East Boston.

The event will be held on June 30 at City Hall Plaza from 6 - 8 p.m. There will be pre-performance interactive activities at 5 p.m., and post-performance dance party with Eli Pabon.

The Mayor's Office of Arts & Culture invites you to come meet the artists and their City partners, and learn about the projects they've been working on over the past year and a half as part of the Boston AIR program. Artists will also be sharing out about the final events that they're having in the community later in June. The event will be held in the Civic Pavilion on City Hall Plaza (the building next to City Hall facing Congress Street, directly across from the Boston Public Market - see map below for more details).
