At a public hearing held on June 11, 2025, the Air Pollution Control Commission (APCC) voted to open a public comment period on draft BERDO regulations related to flexibility measure application processes, third-party verification, and other existing BERDO processes such as campus-level reporting and emissions calculations You can find the draft Regulations and Policies and Procedures (clean and redlined versions) here

As part of this process, the BERDO Team is hosting a virtual listening session to provide the public with an additional opportunity to comment and provide feedback on the draft language. The event will take place over Zoom on Wednesday, June 25 at 1:30 p.m. Registration is required.

SPARK Boston, in collaboration with the Boston Cyclist Union and the Office of Civic Organizing,  will be hosting its first Bike Brigade Clean-Up in Jamaica Plain on May 31st. Bringing bike power to neighborhood clean-ups, this new twist on a classic volunteer opportunity will have attendees picking up and riding through Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
