Martine Maingot

Director of Communications

Martine Maingot, a seasoned communications strategist with over 19 years of experience, serves as the Director of Communications for the Equity and Inclusion Cabinet in the City of Boston. In this role, Martine spearheads the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies aimed at advancing equity and inclusion initiatives across the city. Working under the guidance of the Chief of Equity and Inclusion, Martine collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to amplify the cabinet's mission and engage with constituents, community organizations, and the public.

Martine's journey in communications began in 2005 as an intern for the Mayor's Office of Homeland Security, where she honed her skills in speechwriting and communication strategy. She later held various impactful roles, including her tenure as the Digital Director at the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, where she provided strategic communication counsel and oversaw digital initiatives for the state. Before that, she served as the Communications Director at Moberi Dental Specialists in Houston, Texas, focusing on endodontic and general care as well as the Marketing Manager at East Boston Savings Bank (now Rockland Trust), executing marketing communications for 24 offices.

Martine's career path also includes notable experiences at Kool Smiles pediatric dentistry as a Certified Community Relations Specialist and early involvement in the marketing agency, BzzAgent. In 2019, Martine founded Seedbox Digital, a Massachusetts-based integrated digital marketing agency known for delivering innovative marketing experiences and digital products.
