Meet the Latinx Cultural Advisor of the Cultural Affairs Team: Gladys Oliveros! Originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, Gladys has now been a longtime resident of East Boston for over 3 decades. Gladys has previously served as the East Boston Main Street Director and a program supervisor at Boston Center for Youth and Families’ Paris Street. She founded Casa de la Cultura, a community center dedicated to the Latinx population of East Boston. Gladys is excited to start this new journey on this team and continue uplifting the Latinx community of Boston.
