Building on established community strengths, we will develop programs to improve family outcomes

The City of Boston is partnering with the Boston Opportunity Agenda and Health Resources in Action. Together, we are developing a pilot place-based initiative in Mattapan by working closely with civic and community leaders to improve family outcomes.

A place-based initiative is a program rooted in community. It builds on the strengths of a neighborhood and community members and is designed to

  • improve neighborhood conditions
  • open access to opportunity rich communities
  • unite growth and development strategies

To learn more or participate in the community process, email mattapan@hria.org

Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
