Kendy Valbrun

Immigrant Integration Specialist

Kendy Valbrun is an Immigrant Integration Specialist with the Mayor's Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA), where he oversees pilot programming to support new arrivals in obtaining employment, housing, and accessing other supportive services. Born and raised in Haiti, Kendy migrated to the United States in 1995 with his mother and three siblings, being the youngest of seven. His experiences growing up in a Haitian immigrant family inspired his passion for helping others navigate the challenges of integration.

With extensive experience working with immigrant communities, Kendy also served as the Program Manager at Bethel AME Church and a Program Liaison at the Immigrant Family Services Institute (IFSI), where he assisted Haitian families in accessing vital resources. His work focuses on empowering individuals to build strong foundations for their future. Fluent in Haitian Creole, Kendy continues to make a meaningful impact on the Boston community by fostering opportunities for those in need.
