Donald Wright

Deputy Chief of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion

Donald Wright serves as the Deputy Chief in the Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion. He brings nearly a decade of experience from the Mayor’s Office of Housing (formerly the Department of Neighborhood Development), where he led initiatives focused on housing and community development. Prior to joining the City, Donald spent close to 10 years as a senior manager with AvalonBay Communities, a real estate investment trust (REIT).  A proud resident of Dorchester Center and native New Yorker, Donald is an avid New York Knicks fan and a passionate golfer. He holds an M.B.A. from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business.
