The focus of this event will be on reflecting back what we’ve heard so far and sharing how that feedback has been integrated into the CAP. This session is designed to bolster transparency and maintain the momentum built in early engagement as we move forward in developing the CAP. We will also share future engagement opportunities.
The 2030 Climate Action Plan lays out a roadmap for 2026-2030 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, build resilience to climate impacts, and ensure that the benefits of climate action — clean air, good jobs, healthy homes, and vibrant green spaces — are shared by all. Grounded in climate justice, this plan reflects the voices of communities most affected by climate change and charts a path toward a healthier, more inclusive, and more sustainable future for every Bostonian. The City of Boston will release a second draft and the final 2030 Climate Action Plan in early 2026.
