Mica Caine
Mica Caine is a Central Ohio native and interdisciplinary resilience designer focused on community-led climate adaptation, decentralized energy systems, and advancing the circular economy. She is currently pursuing a Master of City Planning at MIT and is the co-founder of Helix, a hyperlocal, circular fashion marketplace, and a 2025 MIT DesignX accelerator participant.
Previously, Mica worked as a Product Manager in Trust and Safety at Pinterest and served as an Area Commissioner for the Near East Side neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio. Her interests include resilient systems design, community engagement, archival research, collage art, and spending time outdoors with her dog.
