The Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development, an agency within the City of Boston’s Worker Empowerment Cabinet, is responsible for grant-making to a range of workforce development programs, including job training, English language classes, adult education and youth employment. In addition, the Office engages in research and evaluation to build the field of workforce development, provides technical assistance to grantees, and advises City policymakers on issues related to our field of work. We seek an experience Assistant Deputy Director for Grants and Procurement to oversee pre-awards grants management.
Under the direction of the Director of Grants, manage all aspects of the pre-award phase of the agency’s grant-making; undertake research, design and develop plans for programs; manage annual and special procurement processes; identify and develop funding resources and maintain current knowledge and developments in workforce development issues.
Salary Range: $80,526.00 To 92,604.00 Annually
