Get Paid to Provide Critical Programming to Residents

The Office of Workforce Development (OWD) is excited to announce an upcoming Commonwealth Corps opportunity for Boston residents seeking a fulfilling and educational part-time position. CommonwealthCorps Members will serve a ten-month term of service supporting and expanding critical OWD programs including Boston Saves, City Academy, and the Tuition-Free Community College (TFCC) Plan

OWD is currently recruiting for three, part-time, paid Commonwealth Corps positions. Those selected will have the opportunity to contribute to several fast paced, cutting edge community development programs within the City of Boston. Members will provide critical direct service, community outreach, and administrative support to workforce development programs. OWD seeks to recruit diverse, multicultural candidates with connections to the Boston community. Students and multilingual candidates are also encouraged to apply. 

The three positions are: 

  1. Data and Evaluation Coordinator
  2. Boston Saves Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator
  3. Tuition Free Community College Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator

These positions begin on August 19, 2024 and run until June 21, 2025 for 20 hours a week. There is a stipend of $625 semi-monthly while in service, up to $13,125, minus taxes and withholdings.
