Fire Prevention Week 2026

The Boston Fire Prevention Education Unit celebrated Fire Prevention Week 2026 with a special community event at Castle Island in South Boston on October 10. In partnership with the Boston Fire Department’s Aerial Drill Team, the event brought together families and community members for a day of fire safety education, engagement, and entertainment.

The Aerial Drill Team captivated spectators with an impressive demonstration of precision, strength, skill, and teamwork, showcasing the training, dedication, and professionalism of Boston’s firefighters. Visitors also had the opportunity to learn more about fire safety, participate in interactive activities, and enjoy a virtual bouncy house.

A special thank-you to the Boston Fire Department’s Aerial Drill Team and everyone who joined us at Castle Island to make this year’s celebration a success.
