Join instructor Olivia Porada for a high energy Kick It by Eliza class at the Brighton Commons! Kick It is a music-driven, kickboxing-inspired fitness method with 13 rounds. The class brings high intensity interval training with kickboxing, boxing, rhythmic components and a meditative cool down. All levels welcome! All you need is a yoga mat, sneakers, water, and yourself.

This class is designed to increase physical strength through weight-bearing and resistance exercise. All major muscle groups are worked from head to toe. We finish with core training and stretching for a complete workout.

This all-levels, all-ages, family-friendly yoga class offers movement and relaxation with an easy-going, approachable tone. Parents/caregivers are welcome to bring their children to flow with the class or play alongside with our "fit kit" of toys. Please note: parents/caregivers are still responsible for their child's/children's supervision as no childcare will be available. This class is not intended to be a playgroup or parent + child exercise class.

This class will develop your muscular strength, increase your muscular and cardiovascular endurance, and improve your agility through performance exercises that will keep you at your optimal fitness level. This is achieved through the combination of strength training, aerobic conditioning, and agility exercises. On Saturday, April 29th 10-12 pm SPARK Boston and the Boston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated are hosting Love Your Block: Mattapan! 

Join us as we engage in beautification of Almont Park and the neighboring streets of Mattapan!

We'll be at UP Holland Academy as part of the 2023 Love Your Block first weekend of clean-ups on Saturday morning. Join SPARK Boston Council members and other neighborhood volunteers to clean up the grounds of a BPS site. You only need to bring yourself and your friends and a willingness to get a little dirty to beautify our City! Refreshments will be provided. 

Join us for a light spring cleaning and good conversation from 12 - 2 p.m. You can also come earlier from 10 -11:30 a.m. for a workshop on "no-till" gardening. Bring gloves and come ready to pick up trash, remove any remaining dead plants from last season, help sort and spread compost.

Flowers are not only beautiful, but they are important for our pollinators! Join us for a seed-starting workshop and take home your newly-seeded flowers.

Adirondack chair seating will be unveiled for the season both in the North Field and Grove areas of Charlesgate Park.
