Cecily Graham
Cecily Graham’s connection to Boston is deeply ingrained in both her personal and professional journey. A Boston native and product of Boston Public Schools, she holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration. She grew up and currently resides in the vibrant neighborhood of Hyde Park, where she is actively engaged in serving as the Hyde Park liaison.
As a first-generation Bostonian, her identity is enriched by a cultural tapestry woven from Jamaican, Haitian, and Dominican heritage — a mosaic of stories and traditions that define her essence.
With a dedicated background in public policy, research, and community organization, she has served as a former Director of Policy and Research, driven by a fervor for shaping effective policies. Simultaneously, her experience as an educator, with a focus on elementary and civic education, adds depth to her professional profile.
Her role at City Hall as the Hyde Park liaison allows Graham to connect with the community at a grassroots level, addressing their concerns and fostering positive change. This engagement is driven by a passion for effective public service and community well-being.
Outside of her responsibilities as the Hyde Park liaison, she prioritizes self-care and leisure activities. She finds joy in immersing herself in the arts, spending quality time with loved ones, and embarking on road trips to explore new places. These activities not only recharge her but also align with her belief in the importance of holistic well-being.
