Major Project Areas

Boston's Capital Plan includes money for our schools, parks, streets, civic, and community spaces. These investments both maintain a state of good repair and build new shared public spaces for all.

The Capital Plan moves Boston's priorities from desire to creation and invests in creating a city for all Bostonians, where everyone has access to the resources they need to succeed.

These investments focus guaranteeing a school for every student that is safe, healthy, resilient, and inspiring; rebuilding our roads and sidewalks for multimodal transportation; renovating our parks and playgrounds; building and maintaining our Community Centers and Libraries; and planning for the future of climate change.
