Boston Workers, Know Your Rights!

March 10, 2025
2025-03-10T17:30:00 - 2025-03-10T19:00:00

Massachusetts law prohibits discrimination based on a person's membership in a protected class including race, color, national origin, ancestry, religious creed, disability, sex, age, sexual orientation, familial status, veteran status, criminal record, and gender identity/expression.

In this webinar, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) will cover protected categories in employment, common forms of discrimination, and how to file a complaint if you believe you were treated unfairly based on your membership in a protected class.

This webinar, in partnership with the Mayor's Office of Women's Advancement, will also cover types of sexual harassment, the laws protecting you, and how to take action and/or file a complaint.
