Tree Removal Hearing: Roxbury
In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a virtual public hearing on a request to remove two (2) public shade trees at 151 Lenox Street, Roxbury.

The request is for the removal of two (2) public shade trees located at 151 Lenox Street, Roxbury, in order to provide ADA-compliant accessibility on the sidewalk abutting proposed construction of affordable housing units. The following trees are being requested for removal: Two (2) pear trees measuring 6 inches DBH (diameter at breast height) and 4 inches DBH.
The hearing will be held by the City of Boston’s Tree Warden (or designee) remotely on Thursday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom.

Public comments, questions or objections to the removal of these trees must be submitted in writing prior to or during the hearing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118 or by emailing trees@boston.gov with “Lenox Street Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
