Tree Removal Hearing: Fenway

In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a virtual public hearing on a request to remove one public shade tree in Fenway-Kenmore.

    In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a virtual public hearing on the request to remove two (2) public shade trees at 369 Huntington Ave, Boston.

    The request is for the removal of one (1) Elm tree measuring 6 inches DBH (diameter at breast height) and one (1) London Planetree measuring 10 inches DBH in order to replace an underground steam line.

    The hearing will be held by the City of Boston’s Tree Warden (or designee) remotely on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Via ZOOM.

    Public comments, questions or objections to the removal of these trees must be submitted in writing prior to or during the hearing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118 or by emailing trees@boston.gov with “Huntington Ave Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
