    Docket #0166, order for a hearing to ensure that the Boston Police and School Safety officers work together to ensure a safe environment for all our students and staff in Boston Public Schools, referred to the Committee on January 11, 2023; and,

    Docket #0252, order for a hearing regarding public safety measure recommendations for Boston Public Schools and Boston Police, referred to the Committee on January 25, 2023.  The sponsors of the dockets are Councilors Murphy and Flaherty.

    NOTICE:  The Boston City Council may have a quorum participating due to standing committees of the City Council consisting of both voting and non-voting members.  However, members participating in this duly posted meeting are participating and deliberating only in conjunction with the business of the standing committee.

    Attendance and Public Testimony    

    Members of the public are cordially invited to attend and testify.  If you have not testified at a Council hearing before, please arrive five (5) minutes before the call of the hearing to sign up and become familiar with the hearing format, testimony locations and sound system.  Please bring fifteen (15) copies of any written documentation you wish to present at the hearing.  The public may watch this meeting via live stream at boston.gov/city-council-tv and Xfinity 8/RCN 82/Fios 964.  Members of the public wishing to testify virtually via videoconference should email the staff contact for a link and instructions.
