PFD - MATHER SCHOOL ENVELOPE

The City of Boston acting by its Public Facilities Commission, through its Director of the Public Facilities Department (PFD), 2 Center Plaza Suite 700 Boston, MA 02108 hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the PFD - Mather School Envelope project. Project Location: 1 Parish street Dorchester, MA 02122. 

M.G.L. c. 149 sections 44A-44J 

The scope of work includes: Envelope corrective works that include masonry work, window replacements and other site work. and is further detailed in the plans and specifications available electronically only on or about October 27, 2025, upon request submitted to bid.info@boston.gov. The estimated construction cost for this project is $3,147,652.

Filed Sub-bids and General Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit of the amount bid, DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility (approved in the applicable trade/category of work noted below), and DCAMM Update Statement. *All interested bidders are directed to the bid specifications and plans for full information on any and all requirements applicable to this bid.

All bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority at the Bid Counter, 2 Center Plaza Suite 700 Boston, MA 02108 before 12:00 PM (Twelve o'clock pm) on November 18, 2025 for filed sub-bids and before 12:00 PM (Twelve o'clock pm) on December 02, 2025 for General bids at which time and place respective bids will be opened forthwith and read aloud in person and virtually. A performance bond and labor and materials payment bond satisfactory to the Awarding Authority in the sum of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder.

Expected contract duration is 362 Days. Prevailing wages shall apply.
