STORAGE CONTAINER FIT OUT

The City of Boston’s Office of Early Childhood is seeking proposals to outfit shipping containers across the city to support the operations and expansion of the Boston Bikes programming, which includes free Learn-to-Ride lessons for youth.

With this Written Quote Contract (WQC), We are seeking a contractor to outfit six (6) shipping containers with passive ventilation systems, shelving units, and both wall and ceiling mounted hooks for bike and equipment storage. The shipping containers themselves are owner furnished, and must be outfitted onsite at the five (5) respective locations. All other materials must be purchased by the contractor.

The WQC application package will be available beginning Monday, October 20, 2025, at

procurement.boston.gov.

Completed proposal applications may be submitted on the supplier portal as instructed or returned directly to the Mayor's Office of Early Childhood, City Hall, Boston, MA, 6th Floor by Wednesday, November 5, 2025, no later than 4:00 pm EST.
