Sandra Aronson
Sandra Aronson is the Partnerships and Community Engagement Manager at the Mayor's Office of Food Justice. With experience in food systems research and community work, she leads multi-stakeholder initiatives to advance food access across Boston, managing strategic partnerships and communications campaigns.
Sandra's interest in food systems grew from a decade of work in restaurants, catering, and event production, motivating her to explore the broader connections between food access, public health, and sustainability. At Partners In Health, she coordinated pandemic response between state and local health departments, managed Food Solutions New England's Network Leadership Institute, and researched urban food policy and sustainability metrics at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture in Colombia.
Currently serving on the Allston Brighton Health Collaborative's steering committee and as Health Advisor and Energy Ambassador for Develop CHI, Sandra advances health equity and sustainable development strategies through collaborative community initiatives.
She holds dual master's degrees in public health and nutrition with a focus on agriculture, food, and environment from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She enjoys cooking and gardening at her home in Brighton and exploring all that New England has to offer.
