Snow Removal Services as Needed

The City of Boston, acting by the Parks Commission, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, Roxbury, MA 02118, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the project listed above, and particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bid documents, which may be obtained through the City’s Supplier Portal (Purchasing website: boston.gov/departments/procurement).

All Bids for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: Snow Removal Services as Needed

SCOPE OF WORK includes: provide snow removal services during snow events on an on-call basis for the following: Clearing of snow from sidewalks surrounding parks; Application of salt/sand to sidewalks surrounding parks.

Bids shall be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Thursday, December 5, 2024 and opened forthwith.

SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS will be available on or about Monday, November 18, 2024 after 9:00 A.M., Boston time.  

The successful bidder will be required to provide by insurance for the payment of compensation and the furnishing of other benefits under the Workmen’s Compensation Law, General Laws (Ter.Ed.), chapter 152, to all persons to be employed under the contract, and sufficient proof of compliance with the foregoing stipulation will be required before commencing performance of this contract.
