Minor Roadway and Sidewalk Maintenance Repairs in the City of Boston

The City of Boston, acting through its Chief of Streets, invites sealed bids for the performance of the work generally described below, and particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids. The aim of this contract is to supplement city forces on small sidewalk and roadway repair projects. The work shall consist of making minor repairs, and patches to existing brick, Portland cement concrete and bituminous sidewalks and driveways, resetting of edgestone, installation of new edgestone, repairs and or installations of bollards, minor roadway cave ins and backfilling depressions in either roadway or sidewalks where directed.  The work shall also include: adjustments of pullbox frame and covers, and removal and replacement of parking meter posts or sign posts.

Bid documents may be obtained online via the City of Boston Supplier Portal (procurement.boston.gov) under Event ID EV00014989 commencing at 9:00 a.m. EST on Monday, October, 7th 2024.

Every Sealed bid shall be submitted in accordance with the invitation for bids and shall be filed no later than Thursday, October 24th, 2024 at 11:00AM via the online Supplier Portal. Sealed bids shall be opened read aloud through a virtual meeting (meet.google.com/vwd-ddhb-bkd) by the Official, Public Works on Thursday, October 24th, 2024 at 2:00PM
