Heat Emergency in Boston

Mayor Wu announced a heat emergency in Boston from Sunday, June 22, through Tuesday, June 24. A number of splash pads and City pools are open, and select BCYF community centers will be open as cooling centers during the emergency.

We review all money that comes into City government along with the City’s spending.

We review the way the City spends money. In our work we look over the City’s payments, loans, and investments. Each year we conduct a review of the Mayor’s budget before the Council votes on it.
