Virtual Tree Removal Hearing - Dorchester

In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a virtual public hearing on the request to remove five (5) public shade trees on the Conley Street side of 900 Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester.

    The request is for the removal of five (5) Ash trees measuring 19 inches, 13 inches, 12 inches, 12 inches and 8 inches dbh (diameter at breast height) on the Conley Street side of 900 Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester in order for The Community Builders, Inc. who are retrofitting the existing Comfort Inn hotel to complete their required repairs to the sidewalk on Conley Street.

    The hearing will be held remotely on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. via ZOOM.

    Public comments, questions, or objections to the removal of these trees must be submitted in writing prior to or during the hearing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118 or by emailing parks@boston.gov with “Dorchester Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
