Diana Vergara
Diana Vergara currently serves as an Investigator at the Office of Police Accountability (OPAT). A bilingual professional with over 12 years of investigative experience, Diana has worked in a variety of fields, including criminal investigations, fraud investigations, protective services, and, most recently, police misconduct cases.
She holds a Master’s in Homeland Security with a concentration in Security Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Additionally, Diana is a certified Cyber Crime Investigator, equipping her with a diverse skill set for tackling complex cases.
Diana is passionate about her work at OPAT because of her commitment to supporting individuals who are marginalized or unable to advocate for themselves. She believes in making a meaningful difference in their lives and is driven by a strong desire for equity and justice, addressing systemic issues to help create a fairer society.
In her personal time, Diana enjoys listening to podcasts and traveling, further enriching her understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives.
