Asset Management

The City of Boston, acting through its Public Works Department, invites prospective firms to provide Proposals for Asset Management for Pavement, Roadway, and Sidewalk Infrastructure in the City of Boston.

The selected firm will provide engineers, surveyors and other personnel that may be responsible for performing condition surveys, producing recommended maintenance programs, performing data analytics, maintaining GIS Map files, and recommending best practices relative to sidewalk and roadway infrastructure in the City of Boston. The selected firm may be asked to advise the City on and/or procure asset management software. This contract is not subject to G.L.c. 30B because it is a contract for Engineering Services.

Request for Proposals Forms will be made available on Monday November 29, 2021 in the Office of the Construction Management Division, Room 714, Boston City Hall. You may also obtain the Request for Proposals by emailing rachel.pierce@boston.gov 

Proposals must be received no later than 12:00 P.M. on Monday December 13, 2021 in the Office of the Construction Management Division, Room 714, Boston City Hall.

Project fees will be negotiated. Applicants must be Registered Engineers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
