Cancer Health Ride Program
The Cancer Ride Program helps reduce transportation barriers faced by cancer survivors.
The Health Rides program has given over 21,000 taxi coupons to cancer patients at participating hospitals since 1999. Coupons provide temporary transportation to and from cancer treatments. Coupon use ends once permanent transportation is in place. Our Chronic Disease Division manages the program. Participating hospitals oversee the program to ensure coordination and quality.
Eligible patients are Boston residents traveling to or from a participating hospital for chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or cancer-related appointments.
Boston Public Health Commission does not distribute vouchers. Please contact the participating hospital to receive your voucher.
