ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES RELATIVE TO NEIGHBORHOOD SAFETY AND MULTIMODAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

The City of Boston, acting through the Public Works Department, invites Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide engineering design services relative to neighborhood transportation safety and multimodal improvements for all modes of transportation and pedestrians in various neighborhoods throughout the City. The qualified consultant will be responsible for identifying and supporting the planning and design of traffic calming zones and multimodal corridors in various neighborhoods, including Chinatown, Dorchester, Roslindale and Roxbury.  This contract is exempt from the provisions of Chapter G.L.c. 30B and is awarded pursuant to G.L.c. 30.39M.

QUALIFICATION FORMS will be made available on April 21st, 2021 and may be obtained by email request to Julie Kennedy at Julie.Kennedy@Boston.gov.  Response to these forms must be received no later than 12:00 P.M. on May 5th, 2021.  Please submit responses by e-mail to Julie Kennedy at Julie.Kennedy@Boston.gov.  

The Qualification Forms must keep in accordance with the established format, keeping in mind the project being advertised.

Project fees will be negotiated. Project Engineer should be a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
