Job Training and Education

We provide paid employment and hands-on job-training to more than 100 individuals experiencing homelessness every year.

Through our Serving Ourselves Career Center, program participants work as part of our shelter custodial staff or at our commercial kitchen. Participants meet with Workforce Development staff at the Woods Mullen and Southampton Street shelters, as well as our Career Center staff at 1022 Massachusetts Avenue.

  • Housing pathway support or integrated housing and employment programming
  • Financial literacy workshops
  • Open computer lab access
  • Education access, such as computer skills courses and external referrals
