The City of Boston acting by its Public Facilities Commission, through its Director of the Department of

Neighborhood Development (DND), 12 Channel Street, Boston MA 02210, hereinafter referred to as the

Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the above-entitled project. Bids shall be on a form

supplied by the DND, be clearly identified as a bid, and signed by the bidder, and enclosed in a sealed

envelope plainly marked with DND, the Project Name and Project Number. All bids for this project are

subject to current provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, section 39M as amended; and to

the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: Amory Street Soil Remediation, Roxbury

(Ward 11/Parcel 01174000) - Project No. B5430B. The scope of work is further detailed in the

specifications.

ALL BIDS shall be filed with the Awarding Authority *By Appointment Only and submitted directly to

the Public Facilities Bid Counter, located at 26 Court Street, 1 st Floor, Boston, MA 02108, before twelve

o'clock (noon) (EST), on March 22, 2021 at which time and place respective bids will be opened

forthwith and read aloud.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to ongoing public health precautions the City is taking in the wake of the

COVID-19 pandemic the Public Facilities Bid Counter, located at 26 Court Street, 1st Floor, Boston, MA

02108, requires an appointment to drop-off bids. *Please use the PFD Online Scheduler at

www.boston.gov/departments/public-facilities and follow the steps and complete required information to

schedule an appointment to drop off bid.

Plans and specifications will be available on or about March 1, 2021 are only available electronically

from DND and can be downloaded by registering at and can be downloaded from boston.gov/dnd/rfps
