The Boston Elections Department will hold a post-election audit on November 10, 2020, at 9 a.m.

    Offices to be Audited: Under the audit law, only some of the offices will be hand counted in the precincts selected.

    Precincts selected:
    • Ward 1 Precinct 14
    • Ward 10 Precinct 6
    • Ward 11 Precinct 9
    • Ward 12 Precinct 5
    • Ward 16 Precinct 3
    • Ward 17 Precinct 8

    The offices appearing on the ballot in 2020 to be audited are: 

    • President and Vice President
    • Representative in Congress
    • Senator in Congress
    • Representative in the General Court
    • Senator in the General Court
    • Question 1 

    This process will be open for public observation. Those who plan to observe the post-election audit must register using our online appointment application or by calling 617-635-4634.

    Due to COVID-19, the number of observers permitted at a given time may be limited.
