Special events will impact traffic and parking this weekend

Special events taking place from Friday, July 6, through Sunday, July 8, will impact traffic and parking on streets in the City of Boston.  People coming into the City to enjoy the festivities are encouraged not to drive their personal vehicles.  Information on Blue Bikes, the regional bike-share service, may be found at http://bluebikes.com and information on the MBTA may be found at www.mbta.com.  Walking is also a great way to move around Boston

 

Friday, July 6

The following temporary parking restrictions will be in effect to support the Luke Bryan concert at Fenway Park.

“Tow Zone No Stopping Boston Police Special Event Friday 1:00PM to 11:59PM”

  • Brookline Avenue, both sides, from Overland Street to Lansdowne Street
  • Overland Street, south side, from Brookline Avenue to end of legal parking near David Ortiz Drive
  • Boylston Street, south side, from opposite Ipswich Street to Brookline Avenue
  • Lansdowne Street, both sides, from Brookline Avenue to Ipswich Street
  • Ipswich Street, north side, from Lansdowne Street to Boylston Street
  • Van Ness Street, both sides, from Ipswich Street to Kilmarnock Street
