Resources and Events Celebrating the 2026 holiday season
Sharing community and state resources, celebratory events, charities to donate to, and more as the year comes to a close.
As the 2026 holiday season approaches, we at the EAP are sharing this resource list in November so you have time to plan ahead to the end of the year. Many assistance programs, including food assistance, utility and heating support, seasonal charity drives, and holiday gift and meal programs, require applications, documentation, or waiting periods. Starting early gives you the best chance of getting the support you need without added stress during an already demanding time of year. Whether you are looking for help with food, housing, heating costs, or gifts for your family, or want to find ways to give back to your community, we’ve gathered the Boston area’s largest charities, benefit programs, and support services in one place. We encourage you to review the list now, reach out to the programs that fit your needs, and contact the EAP if you’d like help finding the right resource
