Mayor Walsh announces Friday afternoon concert series lineup

Mayor Martin J. Walsh today announced the 2015Friday Afternoon Concert Series lineup. From July 10 - August 21, 2015, each Friday a different local band will perform live from 12pm-2pm in Sam Adams Park (Faneuil Hall). The event is free and everyone is encouraged to attend.

"Boston is a city filled with burgeoning talent," said Mayor Walsh. "The Friday Afternoon Concert Series is an excellent opportunity to showcase the musicians living, studying and performing in Boston."
 

The series prides itself on showcasing local talent. This year's lineup is as follows:

July 10: The Ivy Age

July 17: Grey Season

July 24: TBA

July 31: The Yousif Yaseen Project

August 7: Erica Russo and the Good Sport

August 14: The Heavy Denims

August 21: Riverside Theater Works

The Mayor's Office of Tourism, Sports and Entertainment is committed to producing fun, free public events for Bostonians and visitors to the city and is proud to collaborate with Metro Boston as our media partner for Summer 2015.
