City of Boston traffic advisory for 2018 Veterans Day Parade

On Sunday, November 11, the Veterans Day Parade will take place in Boston.

People coming into the City for the event are encouraged not to drive their personal vehicles.  Information on Bluebikes, the regional bike share service, may be found at http://bluebikes.com and information on the MBTA may be found at www.mbta.com.  Walking is also a great way to move around Boston.

Traffic will be detoured away from the route between 11:50AM and 12:30 PM.

In addition, “Tow Zone No Stopping Boston Police Special Event Sunday” parking restrictions will be in effect as follows.

  • Boylston Street, both sides, Charles Street South to Tremont Street
  • Tremont Street, both sides, Cambridge Street to Boylston Street
