Celebrating LGBTQ Pride Month and Preparing for the Summer

This month, we look at events, resources and supports for LGBTQ individuals, as well as summer camp resources for parents.

This June, we want to take time to once again shout out organizations devoted to serving Boston’s LGBTQ community.  As highlighted by the Boston Preservation Society, Boston has a long and complicated history with its LGBTQ citizens. While Massachusetts became the first state in 2004 to legalize gay marriage, this was in large part due to the advocacy, resiliency, and strength of the activism of the state’s LGBTQ community.  We wish to continue our tradition of partnership and advocacy through links to local resources.

With the start of the summer break fast approaching, we also wanted to take a moment to share some of Boston and greater Massachusetts area summer camps to aid parents.  They are listed below:
