Winners of the Innovation Expo 2026

Every day, City of Boston employees find creative ways to serve our residents better. The Innovation Expo is a recurring "science fair" style showcase designed to celebrate that dedication and uplift forward-thinking work from across the entire City workforce. The 2026 Expo recognized the staff creativity which led to new and improved public services while serving as a platform for departments to exchange ideas.

Jointly hosted by the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) and the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics (MONUM), the inaugural 2026 Expo put over 30 impactful projects on display for all to see and interact with.
