Ronan Park is an 11.24 acre gem sitting atop Dorchester’s Meeting House Hill and offers sweeping views of Dorchester Bay. During construction, entrances to the upper area of the park will be closed, as well as the entrance at the intersection of Mt Ida and Homes.
- Project Features: New playground with areas for ages 2-5 and 5-12, accessible walkways, site furniture, a new splash pad, drainage, and renovated basketball courts.
- Construction Cost: $3,456,000

- Contractor: J.J. Phelan and Son, Co.
The park’s design is informed by the City’s policy goals of making parks more family-friendly, healthy, and safe.
