The Boston Common Mayor’s Walk Improvements project is a recommendation of the Boston Common Master Plan that focuses on improving one of the park’s most heavily used pathways. The project will rehabilitate the existing walk with durable, historically appropriate materials, improve drainage, enhance accessibility, add seating, and incorporate new landscaping. These improvements will help preserve the historic character of the park while making it more accessible, functional, and welcoming for all visitors. This project will go through the design process for these proposed changes.
