Boston Overdose Data to Action (OD2A)

We're using data to reduce overdoses and addiction-related disparities in Boston.

Boston Overdose Data to Action (OD2A), funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, expands our overdose prevention work in four key areas:

  1. Funding substance use navigators to support connection to care and social services in community health centers in Boston.
  2. Building partnerships with community organizations that serve populations disproportionately affected by overdose in Boston to offer overdose response training and naloxone.
  3. Training clinicians in best practices for treating addiction and managing pain.
  4. Utilizing advanced surveillance and data analytics strategies to increase BPHC’s ability to respond to changing overdose trends.

Our mission is to empower organizations with the tools and skills necessary to prevent overdose in their communities, with a particular focus on populations disproportionately affected by opioid overdoses.
